In 2023, we are very proud to have obtained, for our Breton hotel Le Castel Beau Site, a grade of B corresponding to the environmental impact of an overnight stay with breakfast in our hotel.

This is calculated on 4 criteria: impact on the climate, water consumption, consumption of non-renewable resources (energy) and the proportion of organic or eco-labelled products in our supplies.

We are continuing to audit our other hotels over the coming years, with the clear aim of reducing the impact of our business on the environment as much as possible.

Created by the Hôtel Flaubert and presided over by David Foenkinos, French novelist and film director, this literary prize entitled “PRIX FLAUBERT” rewards a French-language literary work of the winter season.

The winner has been announced: Frédéric Pajak, for his magnificent illustrated novel “Dans le calme du soir” published by Éditions Noir sur Blanc.

In it, he gives us his memories of his youth, filled with familiar faces.

On this occasion, he was awarded a 3,000€prize by the Ruinart House. For its part, the Flaubert Hotel will provide him with a week’s residency, allowing him to come and draw inspiration for the writing of his next novel.
